I have not posted much lately since Christmas, New Years and some re-organizing and building of a new work area in my garage has taken precedence. I apologise for that.
Here we are, January 2nd, 2023. Happy New Year!
This video is about the unboxing of my new old stock Abarth Exhaust System for my MGB.

Hi Peter – Happy New Year. Nice post on the Abarth. I put a stainless steel one on when I rebuilt a few years ago. Seems to work well (only issue I have is when the car is jacked up, the axle bears down on the exhaust pipe – not sure if its meant to..)
In your video you mentioned getting your diff rebuilt.. mine is 55 years old with100,000 miles on it and never rebuilt. Its a bit sloppy and I was thinking of trying to tighten it up.. Can I ask what the folks at D&D would charge to do a diff?

Well, they said that if I bring them the diff, they would have it apart in one hour to see and evaluate what if any new parts I needed. Often they can just recalibrate it using washers. I have no idea on the price but I will soon. If your diff bears down on the exhaust, there are two possible reasons. Did you change from lever shocks to tube shocks and the second is that your rubber strap has stretched. If it was a new strap from Moss, that is rubber, then that is likely the issue.
