Unfortunately, the new thrush washers did not eliminate the small play or clunk I have in the differential. When looking at the manual, it says the following. Any thoughts of what to do next since the last know British Leyland Dealer closed years ago and the local differential “experts” don’t want to touch it.

For those of you who don’t drive an MGB, that means no glaring high beams coming up from behind you and blinding you from the rear view and side view mirrors, because we are so low. So, my trip home was cruising the 417 with all my high beams on full plus the additional lights at 75 Miles/Hour all the way listening to music such as “Son of a Preacher Man”, “Stairway to Heaven” a many other oldies.
If you are looking for an MGB to restore, this video is not for you, skip it, lol. If you love the looks of an MGB and want to get one no matter how it drives and live with knowing it is in need of many repairs, this video is also not for you.
But if you want to really experience the pleasure and excitement of driving an MGB all season, have an MGB that looks and feels good inside and out, then this video is for you, and you should watch it to fully understand the costs of ownership and your options to achieve this goal.
