I began to hear a little jingle rattle noise from the transmission when I would take off from start so I decided to perform a belt and roller change and a complete inspection and cleaning. Below is Part one of Two step by step instructions. Part two will not be available until 2017-08-27 since during the inspection I decided that the grooves on the pulley were a bit to much and I ordered new ones from Scooter West. But this video gets you through the disassembly and cleaning.

Part One
Peter, how often do the rollers and belt needed to be serviced/replaced? My GTV has 22,000 miles, I take it in for service, but I don’t think the rollers or belt have ever been serviced.
I enjoyed the video, very interesting, even for those of us who take the Vespa in to the dealer for servicing.

David, at 20,000 miles I would be replacing the clutch, pulleys and belts and rollers for sure.
