It was a cold brisk morning at 2 degrees Celsius (35.6 degrees Fahrenheit) when I left the house at 8:40 AM. The forecast promised more heat later that day but it certainly didn’t help on the way to Orléans to meet everyone at the Spoiled Rotten Bed and Breakfast. In fact my BMW gave me ice warnings!!!

I arrived a tad early so I stopped to have a coffee at the local Tim Hortons about 8 minutes from the B&B.

Since the destination was in Summerstown near Cornwall and that was my old stomping ground the group if I would lead since I knew all the back country  roads. I think everyone wanted to avoid highways which is always my plan. So I lead the way through country roads as the temperature slowly crept up a half a degree at a time.

I think we were all ready for some warmth when we arrived at Dimitris Restaurant in Summerstown. The food was great and the company better!

The ride back was awesome but I decided to skip the Pot Luck since most people had cancelled for other commitments. I seperated from the group on the way home once they were passing my town and heading towards Orléans.
