1967 Yamaha 125
This is where it all began. Back in 1976 I purchased my first motorcycle at the age of 17 (oops, did I just date myself).
I do not remember what I had paid but it was second hand and I remember the generator or alternator did not work so I had to charge the battery daily in order to ride it. I also remember that I did not have the know how nor the money to repair it.
I was living in Laval, Quebec and had this bike plus a 1970s Austin Mini with a 1100 cc engine in it.
I am not even certain if we insured the motorcycle back then. I suppose we did but I do not remember. I also do not remember having any type of safety jackets, boots, gloves or even a helmet.
I think I had that bike for a year or so until I traded up to a Kawasaki 400.

We are travelling parallel paths here! My first bike, (actually my brothers) was a Honda CB125 bought new at the dealer at Bank and Argyle in 1973 or 74!
