The most unexpected turn of events just happened today and introductions are in order. As you all know I was shopping for new adventure bikes for my wife and I. This morning I came across a used BMW F700GS completely loaded with BMW accessories for sale at a BMW dealer in Ajax Ontario. The motorcycle had only 2,875 Km (1,786 Miles) and was for sale at $ 12,372.00 Tax Included.
This may sound like much money to some, but if you start shopping for this bike, it can get to well over $ 18,000.00 with the equipment included. For example, the BMW Panniers and Top Box is close to $ 1,900.00 when purchased new and installed with the bike. So really, this was an excellent deal.
Although I was not planning to buy a bike until the spring, I decided this morning after discussing it my friend Mike Fritz that this was just too good of a deal to pass down.
So please welcome our first BMW to our Family…

Oh, I get it. When you send air flow I was thinking something with the air filter but know I get it. Actually, I was planning to order the wind screen from MadStad Engineering since I was very satisfied with their design on the CTX 700. I was considering the 18″ clear.

Peter, I believe I have followed your blog ever since it began. I’m endlessly fascinated by your insights and experiences.
I wonder where all this will end. Can you ever see yourself ending up your two-wheeled odyssey on an 1800 cc behemouth? Something like a Harley Electra Glide? (Just kidding!)

Probably will eventually end with a BMW R 1200 GS whenever I have an extra $30,000 to spend (like win the lottery)
