Peter, I got my GTS from a guy who went from Vespa to BMW.
I may one day get that itch too.
I’m looking forward to Beemer pics.
If farkles are pricey for Vespas, Beemer farkles are in another league. Good luck with the sale. Kijiji is a good place to sell.

Peter, I am stunned! I have followed your blog about the GTV ever since you got it. Best blog on a Vespa out there. I have a 250 GTV. I plan to get a mid-sized bike as well, to handle the interstates. But I won’t give up the Vespa. It’s perfect for local travel. That said, I agree that your Vespa is a great, great deal. A truly fantastic deal at the price you are offering. I hope you continue your blog when you get your BMW. I’ll continue following your blog. Like your Vespa, it’s first-rate. David

I do not have the garage space for another bike nor the extra cash to keep both. I would like to keep the Vespa for keepsake 🙂 If you know someone interested, please forward the info. Thanks.

This is very sad Peter, been reading your blog now for quite some time over a year or longer. It really seemed to me that you loved that scooter as much as the scooter itself loves you. What made your blog special was the Vespa and it was unique that you did so many things to your Vespa and all the trips you took on it.
I’m sorry, but riding a BMW just doesn’t do it. I will sincerely miss you and your Vespa and I wish you all the luck on your German BMW. Remember riding that BMW gives you the personification of just another motorcyclists.

My wife and your comments changed my mind. I just have to figure out how to ride long distances without back pain.
