When I purchased my Fiat 500 Abarth last year, the Business Manager Mr. Chris Lauzon and I were discussing proper care of the new Abarth. I had explained that I would not drive it in the winter and so on. Somehow we came to the topic of proper care of the vinyl and plastic parts and he gave me a warning about using Armor All because it is silicone based. Apparently Armor All leaves the plastic with a very nice finish and feel but also bleaches out the natural oils from the plastic to make it brittle and eventually crack and fade. How often do you bring in your car to a car wash and they ask you; “Armor All on the tires and plastic?” It seems like this stuff will contribute to your tires prematurely cracking. OMG!
This started me to thinking about what I should use other than a mild soap and water to clean and protect my plastic, rubber and vinyl. As you can see, I have much that needs protecting.
I spent quite a bit of time researching this subject only to find two products that were recommended consistently and one always recommended as the best. The two products were 303® Aerospace Protectant and Pinnacle Black Label and it seemed that most preferred the 303 Protectant.
I decided to order some online and expect to have it today. I plan to be cleaning and protecting those areas displayed above.

(It’s also water-based to avoid the disadvantages of those that aren’t.)
